One afternoon, class let out early, and a couple of us scampered back to the hotel and to its neighbor, the US Space and Rocket Center, affiliated with the Marshall Space Flight Center here in Huntsville, Alabama. Our goal was to see a shuttle close up, but there is plenty else there, as well.
