Well, we’re finishing up our week in Northern California, and are set to continue southward tomorrow morning. Santa Barbara is the evening’s destination, but hope to drive along Highway 1 to San Luis Obispo on the way, assuming it won’t delay our progress too much.

So, plans are gelling. We’ll aim for the particular destinations of Tucson, El Paso, San Antonio, New Orleans, and Atlanta, all for various reasons having to do with one or the other of us. Looks like it will take us much of two weeks to get to the D.C. area, with the itinerary currently being planned. Melissa’s thinking of Thanksgiving at her Pennsylvania home, especially if we can arrange a rental before that time somewhere in D.C.
